We are
We are seeking an Israeli au pair who to join us for six months, from late February-late August 2017, in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts.
We have two daughters, one who is currently 2.5 years old and one who is currently six months old. Mom is a Reform rabbi and Dad works from home organizing group tours to Israel. You must be fluent in English and have a driver's license (Israeli or foreign) and be comfortable driving. We would like to have someone who is energetic, well organized, comfortable caring for both children at once, can teach them some Hebrew, and able to drive them around for activities and visits to Mom at work for breastfeeding. Additional responsibilities include dinner time, bath time and some light housekeeping. The work week is 45 hours per week.
The Berkshires are considered a vacation destination; there is great nature (mountains, lakes, rivers, etc.), museums, and arts around where we live. We are minutes away from world-class theatre, dance, and music venues. There are many young Israelis in the area over the summer as there are two Jewish summer camps near us. We are 2.5 hours away from Boston and 3 hours away from New York City.
