Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with skills in search engine optimization
Required language (mother tongue) Hebrew + strong English -writing, reading, speaking
The successful Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager will be responsible for the development and execution and implementation of SEO strategies on branded websites. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty of the job outlined below, and to accept special projects as assigned.
· Pro-actively monitor all SEO related activities
· Analyze web traffic continuously
· Project Management of new and existing SEO features
· Develop and architect new SEO strategies
· This position requires a combination of technical and marketing savvy to optimize natural search engine rankings
Location: Tel Aviv
Essential Responsibilities:
· Website Analysis:Review, analyze and audit branded web sites/pages for content and to identify SEO areas for improvement (e.g., site architecture areas that need to be improved, revamped, etc); prepare detailed SEO strategy reports
· Keyword Analysis & Research:Research and select keywords.
· SEO Content:Provide keyword research and SEO writing guidelines to copywriters (e.g., where to place keywords in copy so that it gets the most search engine traffic, how to write effective headlines and how to write effective call-to-action statements).
· Search Engine Guidelines:Keep current of Google's best practices and guidelines.
· Liaison:SEO specialists liaise with many different departments and professionals, inside the company and with third party vendors in defining and executing relevant SEO plans, best practices and deliverables. Facilitate the editing and approvals process with the key teams (e.g., copywriters, legal). Work with the appropriate internal teams as well as other key stakeholders to ensure the SEO elements as well as content moves to the websites.
· Understand how integration of blogs, expert content, subject matter experts, video and other content forms affect the outcome of a particular execution versus another approach and be able to defend recommendations with solid insights.
· Technical understanding of optimizing content for key search engines
· Run weekly and monthly SEO reports (includes insights and rankings reports)
· Develop link building strategies, including work in blogs and social networks
· Produce and assist with execution of SEO guidelines for copywriters, design and content team
Desired Skills and Experience
· Minimum – Bachelor degree, with specific training / experience in related field
· Preferred – Master's degree highly preferred
· Minimum of 4 years proven SEO experience in optimizing B2C websites for search engines
· Strong technical SEO skills, including ability to evaluate and modify html, CSS and JavaScript for SEO purposes
· Experience with keyword research and proven track record to successfully optimize eCommerce sites for competitive head terms and long tail terms
· Experience with enterprise SEO platforms
· Experience with Google and Bing webmaster tools
· Experience with budgeting and forecasting
· Experience with web analytics
· Experience with online competitive intelligence services
