We are looking for a lead QA
Position Description:
We are looking for a lead QA engineer who will take part in developing and testing a revolutionary suite of network and security products using SDN technology. The work includes work on complex network topologies using virtualization and cloud environments. The engineer will be responsible for planning the tests, designing them, and executing them both manually and automatically.
Requirements
· At least 3 years of experience in planning and implementing tests for network or security systems
· Deep knowledge of QA methodologies
· Linux experience
· Good knowledge of networking
· Able to work independently
Advantages:
· Familiarity with scripting languages such as PHP, Python, and Perl
· Experience with databases both relational and NOSQL
· Knowledge of Avalanche/Ixia and other stress/performance tools

In this position Candidate will lead Quality Engineering solution, supplying a solid infrastructure for the regression and performance testing, oversee the entire automation and reporting process.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent attention to detail. Candidates should also be capable of handling multiple tasks and efficiently prioritizing responsibilities, be up-to-date with latest versions, trends and breakthroughs in technology and development process; e.g. continuous integration. Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed. Understand the role of testing within the software development lifecycle and business-related project constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Write test cycle plans, test cases, and test scripts and execute them manually
- Set up testing environment and required equipment
- Analyzing, submitting and tracking bug and submitting test report with clear steps to reproduce
- Working with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality
- Work with Developers and Product team to understand project requirements and create real-world test cases and use cases
- Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality assurance best practices and processes
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of experience in a Quality Assurance in testing complex systems and applications
Experience in developing and maintaining test suites through formal methods of test design to ensure optimal test coverage. Defect tracking and use of test management tools
- Experience in developing and maintaining any of smoke, performance, functional, and regression tests to ensure code is functioning as designed
- Managing defect tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed
- Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect
- Must have deep knowledge of bug tracking systems and methodologies
- Proven experience working on Linux and scripting
- Understanding of the software release process
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a known university
Desirable:
- Working knowledge in Product organization with agile methodology
- Experience working in a global, multilingual organization
