"A global leading provider of financial technology solutions is looking for a Business Analyst. Job responsibilities include gaining an in-depth knowledge of the software product and interpreting company's customer requirements for the installation of the product. The analyst must be able to train customer staff to prepare for proofs of concept as well as customer acceptance testing. The analyst must develop and maintain functional specifications documents, which include documenting user interface changes. The analyst must construct process flow diagrams and be able to write use cases. Duties also include working with the development team as a liaison to the business unit and working with the Quality Assurance department to ensure that the application meets functional specifications. Additional functions include document management and control change control process as well as contributing to the business analyst team effort in order to meet group project plans. Responsibilities: Working closely with customers and prospects to gather detailed user requirements and developing product gap documentation that will include: navigational changes, business logic differences, new product features or functions, workflow diagrams and description of bank operating environment. Training customers to use the administration and user facing functions of the product. Working closely with representatives from Development, Customer Services, Sales and Professional Services Group to understand existing functionality and technology and define future business requirements. Writing detailed business requirements based on customer requirements. Writing functional specification and use case documentation for customer installations. The functional specification and use case documentation will include: o >Screen Shot Mock-ups (GUI requirements) o >Navigational diagrams o >Field rule definitions o >Screen business logic and workflows o >Error conditions Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university. Minimum 5 years of experience in writing functional specifications, business requirements and system analysis. In depth knowledge of Cash Management and Banking. CTP certification will be an added advantage. Background with Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance and Corporate Liquidity is desirable. Knowledgeable of the internet and technical environments: Java, HTML, SQL, Internet browsers, databases and distributed computing architecture. Background with mobile banking is desirable. PC knowledge should include Microsoft Office Products. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is desirable. Familiarity with usability concepts a plus. Presentation and product training skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in cross department team projects. Project Life Cycle focused and trained. Detailed oriented. Multitasking skills. Leadership and team player skills.
